TenTravelTips is a website dedicated to editing and organizing the Internet for travelers. We rely on our users to volunteer information, links, lists, as well as articles and reviews to our travel directory website.

We welcome your travel expertise. Here are some things you need to know about submitting articles, reviews, or lists:

1. We cannot pay you for your review of travel locations or restaurants; you may, however, take satisfaction in helping create our top ten lists or in compiling the best information about the places you love.

2. Whatever you send us must be something that you have written or something which you have permission to reproduce. Please submit articles, reviews, and lists as MS Word documents or in HTML.

3. If you have accompanying photographs (photographs that are yours to reproduce) be sure to include them! They will make your page or story more colorful and interesting. We can accept most graphic formats.

4. You may or may not feel comfortable writing an article for publication. If you do, that's great; if not, we are happy to edit any article or review that offers our readers good information. We do, however, reserve the right to make changes to the title, content, and format of all submissions. We will double check the links and some of the basic information. We will give you credit for your writing with a byline (John Smith, Editor).

5. Note: You may still publish your article elsewhere once it is published on our site. If you re-publish the version of your story that we edited anywhere else, simply add a note at the bottom "edited by TenTravelTips.com."

6. Whether you plan to submit a list, an article, or a restaurant review, it should be based on your personal experience. Other readers want to know that a real person/family/couple have been there and what their opinion was. This kind of original content is one of the things that makes TenTravelTips different from a lot of other travel web sites offering package deals and vacations getaways.

7. Because the information you send us could remain on our website indefinitely, it should not have an "expiration date" (i.e. information that is no longer useful to our readers after a particular date).
