Atmosphere
This unassuming restaurant is in a shopping center along the highway in the Village of Oak Creek just outside of Sedona. It was recommended to us by our hotel desk clerk (Thank you, Mr. Ram!). We were tired, hungry, and wanted to find a good dinner without going far; we had no idea how good this tiny crowded Thai restaurant would be. The only downside of our dining experience for me was that we were jammed at a table for two and my companion was next to the door (drafty), while I was squeezed in by the table behind me. The crowding almost kept me from appreciating the decor, which was attractive enough with hanging tapestries. Our waitress was lovely and although the place was busy, the service was not too slow.
Food
Reasonably priced, the entrees start at about $8.00. I chose the green curry beef, which was creamy and flavorful without being too spicy. My friend had a tofu dish. We had shared an appetizer of fried tofu, delicate triangles of tofu served with sweet and sour peanut dipping sauce. The dishes were filling and since we couldn't take leftovers home we ate everything, leaving no room for dessert. Then I noticed they had my favorite sticky rice with mango :-(
