  1. Petaluma Adobe State Historic Park - General Mariano Guadalupe Vallejo, who once had a 66,000-acre rancho, had his main residence here in the huge adobe building, parks.ca.gov

  2. Mrs. Grossman's - Mrs. G's claims to be the oldest and largest sticker factory in the USA and it is a fun factory to tour, because who can resist the myriad of cool stickers made there (15,000 miles of them a year!).

  3. Marin Cheese Factory - Rouge et Noir cheeses are made here and tours of the facilities are available. There is a lovely shop with their cheeses and other picnic ingredients. The green and beautiful grounds have picnic areas and a large pond with ducks and geese, marinfrenchcheese.com

  4. Petaluma Farmer's Market - May through October this market is held in Walnut Park Saturdays from 2:00-5:00; it offers the bounty of Sonoma County and it features live entertainment and crafts as well

  5. Cinnabar Theater - located in what was once a two-room schoolhouse, this theatre offers a wide range of work in an intimate setting

  6. Petaluma Village Premium Outlets - 60 outlet stores in an attractive outdoor mall setting, premiumoutlets.com
