Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park - the lighthouse itself is closed for structural safety evaluation, but the grounds remain open to the public and there are guided walks.  Even more interesting is that the lighthouse keeper's house has been restored and made into a youth hostel, www.parks.ca.gov (for contact information regarding the hostel go to HI - Pigeon Point Lighthouse)
